Dallas County May Reform Bail System
DALLAS, TX -- The Dallas Morning News reported some troubling facts about the Dallas County bail bond system in 2011. Journalists broke stories about unpaid bail bond forfeitures and some creative bookkeeping which allowed bondsmen to declare one property value for tax purposes and another value – a higher one – for posting bail. Now, the Dallas Morning News is reporting that the county may overhaul its bail bond system so that it is more accountable and brings in more money.

Bondsmen Seek Pastor
LAS VEGAS, NV -- Las Vegas Bondsmen seek a range of felons, from career criminals to those who have only been in trouble with the law once. Bad Girl Bail Bonds, however, is looking for an unusual felon: A pastor. Bad Girl Bail Bonds posted a $30,000 bond to get pastor Otis Holland out of jail after he was accused of sexually assaulting members of the United Faith Church. However, Holland has been missing for a year and has not been attending his court dates as promised. Bad Girl Bail Bonds is offering a $10,000 reward to anyone who can help provide information that leads to Holland.

Bondsmen Catch Up With Missing Skip
LOGANSPORT IN -- Pedro Alvarez has been sought by bondsmen for five years – since the time he first missed his trial in Cass County IN. Bondsmen have now found Alvarez in the small town of Long Beach, Mississippi. Even though Alvarez missed his trial, the trial continued without him. Alvarez will now be brought back to Cass County to face further charges.

Bondsman to be Featured on Blog Show
DENVER, CO -- Bondsman Bobby Brown from Colorado will be appearing on Glendene Grant’s blog show. The interview will likely bring in extra viewers to Grant’s show. Grant has a personal reason for interviewing professionals such as Brown – six years ago, Grant’s daughter went missing and Grant has dedicated many hours since then to searching for the missing girl. Grant will be interviewing Brown about human trafficking.
