Woman Sentenced for Sex Crimes, Switches Bondsmen

MARSHALL COUNTY, TN -- Jeana Lynn Gunter has been sentenced to five and a half years of probation for sex charges against a minor. Gunter originally received help from Farrar Bonding to post her $24,000 bail after her arrest. However, bondsman Mike Farrar eventually asked the court to be permitted to be released from the contract. Farrar alleged that Gunter violated her bond by moving without giving due notice, by arriving late for court dates, and by not meeting for regular check-ins with her bondsman. The court released Farrar from the bond and Gunter signed on with another bail company.
