When it comes to marketing your bail agency, social media is the way to go. Social media accounts are cheap, easy to setup and success is only limited by the time you invest. Of course, a lot more goes into a successful social strategy than just time.

One of the hottest social platforms that marketers are now moving into is Instagram. It’s a great platform where a lot of opportunities can be had. Instagram is very different than some of the other networks out there like Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and even Pinterest. One could say it’s a different kind of monster. Here are some great ways to run a successful marketing campaign for your bail agency on Instagram.

1. Throw in Some Fun Images

Instagram is all about the images you share, which makes sense since that’s all you really can share. Okay you can also share short videos, but that’s not the point.

If your social feed is full of advertisements and marketing slogans, no one is going to follow your account. Worse yet, anyone that previously decided to follow you will soon unsubscribe. The trick is to use subliminal advertising, or at least some form of it.

Share a lot of interesting and fun images related to your topic and niche. Sneak an advertisement or business mention in the description using hashtags instead of in the image itself. This may seem a bit difficult as a bail bonds agency, but that couldn’t be far from the truth.

For instance, you could dress someone up as a superhero and take an image of them behind bars. Then, you could run a few silly images advertising that you’re Batman’s bondsman. That’s just barely scratching the surface; I’m sure you could come up with something even better.

2. Take Advantage of Hashtags

Just like Twitter and Facebook, Instagram allows you to use hashtags in your content. You can use them in the image description or to tag the image itself. This allows Instagram users to search for content related to a particular phrase.

With Twitter hashtags, marketers often hijack a particular tag or phrase and use it generously across multiple posts. This increases the chance that it will start “trending” or become popular. When a lot of users take advantage of the same hashtag it ends up in the spotlight, and this exponentially increases its success. The same strategy and hashtag usage scenario holds true on Instagram. Make proper use of hashtags in your content and you’ll see greater support for followers all around.

Nitrogram is a great tool which allows you to track various Instagram hashtags through analytics data. If you need some ideas about which tags to use, or whether or not you have a good one check it out.

3. Instagram Supports 15 Second Videos

Don’t just dedicate your time to posting colorful images. Shoot some videos, too!

Just like with the images, you don’t want to clutter up your feed with only ads. However, you can dedicate a couple frames of each video to splash your logo or brand image. As a bail agency it’s important that leads remember your contact information so they can get a hold of you when they need you, therefore it would be a great idea to display that info too.

Either way, make sure you’re sharing fun and engaging content that is offset by business information. You’ll want to give your followers a reason to subscribe to your content, and keeping things interesting is the way to do that.

4. Follow Accounts, Follow Back and Just Keep Following

The only way to gain exposure through social media is to increase your audience. To do that, you will just need to keep following other accounts, and follow back when people subscribe to your own profile. Spend a small portion of your time each day following new accounts. In this respect, you will earn a lot of new followers over time and that means more chances of interaction. Interaction and engagement is what really drives social media, that’s the best way to go.

At the same time, try to interact with as much of your audience as possible. This will keep them interested and coming back to your profile.

5. Embed Your Videos

You can actually embed your videos on your blog or business website. This does a bunch of different things. For starters, it allows you to generate a cross-platform marketing campaign when creating videos. It also allows you to increase your exposure rate, because customers that visit your website or blog will be more inclined to follow you on Instagram if they see your content.

Of course, when it comes to marketing and producing videos it makes things a whole lot cheaper. You can put together your advertising campaign on Instagram in its entirety and embed the content elsewhere.

Take advantage of Instagram to build your clientele. Build a successful campaign a day at a time, and have fun while you do it.
